Scootz's Friends Gallery - Mona
From Vermont, Dayle Ann writes:
I found Mona as a kitten about eight years ago in a wildlife refuge where she had been abandoned. It took about half an hour to coax her out. I believe a litter had been dumped there, and the rest taken by the many hawks who lived there. She has grown into a magnificent 15 pounds. She dislikes grooming herself, as her long fine hair sticks to her tongue, so I get to do her grooming. In return, she grooms my hands, methodically cleaning between my fingers and "nibbling" to make sure I don't have vermin. Here she is in all her disheveled glory, taking a nap.
