Frankie Weiss and Her Magic

In Conclusion

Going back, the almost seven years we have been together definitely speaks to the affinity between human and the feline. Frankie and Johnnie are part of the 73 million cats that will, more often than not, bring beauty, comfort and happiness into the 34.7 million households in America that opened their homes and hearts to these loving animals.

For the children living in these 34.7 million American households it will be a wonderful learning and loving experience that usually carries over into adulthood. I have written in another chapter these children tend to adopt pets once out of the home. It’s a never-ending cycle that will be part of their future children’s lives. This little, furry, lithe, four-legged animal part of the family named Felidae are so beloved by their human companions; that today in the United States and United Kingdom they greatly outnumber the dog. Yet, while seeing many Dog Shows featured on television, I have never seen one show featuring the cat. Some cat shows are held in various areas of the country, I have no idea where, when, or whether only pedigreed cats are exhibited.

In looking at Frankie and Johnnie’s background, it’s further proof that being pedigreed amounts to nothing. In fact, this non-selective cross breeding of cats may genetically and beneficially improve the species. I’m certain both of my cats’ parents had no papers that would show off their genetic breeding, yet, I never saw a prettier Calico cat than Frankie. And, Johnnie certainly was not left behind the door when it comes to being a beautiful looking feline.

In finality, bringing this story to its conclusion, Frankie, Johnnie and their Mr. Mom share a world of mutual need and love that Nature in its infinite wisdom created so that each of us, human and feline, benefit from our togetherness.
